As The Sun reported, Victoria and David Beckham accompanied their 15-year-old son Brooklyn to Claire’s at Westfield shopping center in London last weekend to have his ear pierced for the first time. They were joined by Brooklyn’s youngest brother Cruz (9).
The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree
Brooklyn’s mother, Victoria (40), is a true style icon. The ex-Spice Girl and model is a successful fashion designer and meanwhile has established her own fashion label. Apparently, like many girls, she’s been wearing earrings since she was a little girl, as can be seen in this this super cute picture, which she just shared on Twitter:

And Brooklyn’s father, David (39), a former English soccer star, is also a fashion icon and frequently wears studs in both earlobes.
Brooklyn’s left ear was pierced by the store manager, Joe Parker, at Claire’s in Westfield, a STUDEX partner store. When interviewed by The Sun, Parker admitted that this was not like any other ear piercing, “Brooklyn was cool, but I was so nervous, I was like, ‘I can’t mess this up.’”
The Beckham parents paid £45 (about €57) for the piercing earring, which included the ear piercing service and—since STUDEX piercing earrings are sold in pairs—an extra earring as backup. At this store, this was at the upper end of their price range for piercing earrings. “They picked the most expensive earring, but Victoria told him to go a size down so it wasn’t too blingy,” Parker stated.
How cool is that?
Some teenagers have to beg their parents for their first earrings. But the Beckhams make ear piercing a family event. They spent about 30 minutes in the store, where the piercing process took place in a back office, and they left through the back door. They “were a lovely family,” as our STUDEX partner was quoted.
Of course the fact that Brooklyn is now sporting a new ear piercing was quickly shared in social media. The teenager, who just signed a one-year contract with Arsenal’s under-16 soccer team and appeared on the cover of Man About Town magazine earlier this year, already seems to have quite a big number of fans. And to some, his new ear piercing makes him even more adorable, as this Tweet clearly shows:
